Beautiful life: 4 of 4
Best described as a combination between Euphoria and A Bronx Tale, Beautiful Life: 4 of 4 follows Italian-American actor, Vincent Amarone, as he recalls his life leading up to him becoming the actor he is today, beginning with his senior year of high school, when he was living with his pregnant girlfriend, separated from his family, and surrounded by influences such as an old friend who just got out of jail, and a Mafia Capo who treats him as his own.
The two questions that are asked in this play are “how will he get through this?” and “what drives people apart?”
-Frank Tangredi, The Greenhouse Ensemble
“From the opening moments, I expected Beautiful Life: 4 of 4 to be an entertaining evening. Sean Amato is a natural, unforced raconteur and he adeptly assumed various characters.
What I was not expecting were those moments that cut deep into feelings of pain and guilt. To me, that’s what really made the program come alive.”
-Jefferey Sanzel, Theatre Three
“Sean Amato’s Beautiful Life: 4 of 4 is a brave, semi-autobiographical solo outing that blends heartfelt revelations with frank humor.
A distinct and personal style fuses the realistic and theatrical in this honest ninety minutes.”
–Mark Reynolds, Cortland Repertory Theatre
“A compelling and personal story. Sean’s charm and vulnerability shine through, while risking it all to become an artist. Bravo!”
